EcoVadis Gold status for OBO

A significant milestone towards a more sustainable future: we are delighted to have been awarded Gold status by EcoVadis. EcoVadis is an internationally recognized platform for evaluating the sustainability performance of companies. Outstanding sustainability performance is awarded with a corresponding medal status. With the Gold status, OBO is now among the top 5% of companies assessed worldwide. 

EcoVadis considers the guidelines, measures and reporting of companies in the following areas:

• Environment
• Labour and human rights
• Ethics
• Sustainable procurement

The EcoVadis methodology is based on international sustainability standards (Global Reporting Initiative, United Nations Global Compact, ISO 26000) and is monitored by a scientific panel of sustainability and supply chain experts to ensure reliable and objective third-party assessments. For the award of Gold status in the current assessment period, OBO has achieved a proud score of 79 points.

This makes OBO one of the few companies in the electrical installation industry to achieve this status in the rating.
